For more than 25 years, I’ve worked in accounting, financial management, and business advisory. I’ve held Controller and CFO-level leadership positions, working with multimillion-dollar budgets and providing strategic planning, forecasting, and advisory services for service-based businesses, nonprofits, public-sector organizations, and tech startups.

What I’ve learned over those 25+ years is that the numbers always tell a story. And the person leading the business needs to know how to read that story.
